COVID - 19 UPDATE
We believe that providing healthcare to our patients is an essential service and we will do everything we can to ensure the needs of our patients are met. We hope you can rest assured to know that we will remain open as long as possible to the best of our control.
RESTRICTIONS TO HELP STOP THE SPREAD:
Currently, (as of 30/3/2020) we have been issued nation wide restrictions by the government
in regards to slowing the spread of coronavirus infection. In order to stay open and provide
our services, we need to ensure the safety and health of our clients and staff. In order to do
this we ask you to consider the way in which these restrictions affect our Veterinary clinic,
and please respect these guidelines to the best of your ability.
Please be advised that these restrictions may change.
We are all working hard to ensure we can provide veterinary care to your pets while keeping clients and staff safe. In doing so we have had to make a few more changes.
BOOKING AN APPOINTMENT:
To save you waiting we ask you call ahead and make an appointment.
On arrival please call the clinic on 5445 5288 to let us know you are here.
Our receptionist will check that your details are up to date and someone will be right with you. While you are waiting, we ask that you are visual to our reception staff but remain the required distance to others.
If you need to change any of your details in our system, please complete this "Updating Client Details Form".
WHEN ARRIVING AT THE CLINIC:
Please practice extra hygiene and use hand sanitiser provided.
Please respect the government restrictions on social distancing.
Remain 1.5 metres away from your nearest person
We kindly ask that you wait outside and we will come to you when it is your turn.
WHEN IN THE CONSULT:
To allow us to continue operating under the Queensland guidelines we are only able to allow our vet and one other person in the consult room, at one time.
WHEN REQUESTING ON GOING MEDICATION:
Alternatively, please call the surgery, pre order and pay for your pets medication.
Once your pet’s medication has been dispensed by the prescribing veterinarian our receptionist will call you for payment.
On arrival we ask you call us on 5445 5288 to let us know you are here and someone will bring your pets medication out to you.

IN THE EVENT OF FORCED CLOSURE:
If a staff member becomes unwell, we will close and quarantine for the recommended period of time.
This is rapidly evolving situation, and we will do our best to give you the most notice possible. We are currently allowed to remain open as we are considered an essential service at this time, however in the event that the government enforces our closure, clients will be notified.
Please be patient and kind to all, we are all in this together and will get through this.
