PRESCRIPTION MEDICATION UPDATE

Updated: May 14

If your pet is on prescription medication it is very important that you let us know at least 48 hours before you are going to run out. Not all medication is kept in stock and sometimes needs to be ordered in.

If your pet is on a medication that is made by a compounding pharmacy - external to the clinic - we require at least 7 days notice to give the pharmacy time to make the medication and have it sent to us.

With staff shortages across Queensland due to COVID 19 there may be further delays in the stock actually reaching the clinic. This is also true for prescription food and some over the counter products.

Did you know that we have an on line ordering system for prescription medications?

CLICK HERE for our Prescription Form. Fill in the form and this will be emailed to us so we can action it for you.

Please note: All animals must have been seen by the vet in the last 6 months for medication to be dispensed. This is a legal requirement.

Thank you for your understanding.
